What is the difference between a cold pressed oil and a virgin oil?

The seeds of both claims are cold-pressed, but a native oil must not be preceded by any treatment of the seeds. This means that peeling or blanching the raw material after cold pressing can no longer be claimed as virgin oil.

Would you prefer a refined oil or a cold-pressed/virgin oil?

Refined oils have a neutral taste and smell due to the refining process. They can be heated to a higher temperature and last longer. Therefore, it depends entirely on the customer's intended use. Our native, cold-pressed oils are ideal for cold dishes such as salads, smoothies and bowls. They still contain their secondary plant substances and their natural vitamin E content.
