Pumpkin seed flour is produced from fresh, roasted pumpkin seeds. The seeds are cold pressed and finely ground. Naturally green in colour, the flour has a slightly nutty taste. It contains 55% protein, making it an ideal vegetable-based protein enrichment. With a fibre content of just 15%, it also has a range of applications in low-carb cooking.
It is perfectly suited for producing pumpkin-seed bread. Our pumpkin seed flour gives the bread a rich colour and enhances the nutty taste of the pumpkin seeds. The bread has an increased shelf life and is not too dry.
The flour is available in both organic and conventional quality.
